New World Aeternum Details: Season 8 Content

The world of New World, Amazon Game Studios’ popular MMORPG, continues to evolve and expand with the release of its eighth season of content. This update brings new features, quality-of-life improvements, and exciting additions that will further immerse players in the rich, mysterious world of Aeternum. Season 8 not only introduces a variety of fresh content, but also builds on the foundation laid by previous updates, continuing to shape the game into one of the most dynamic and engaging MMOs on the market.

New World: Aeternum — The Setting and Its Appeal

Before diving into the specifics of Season 8, it’s important to remember why New World stands out in the crowded MMORPG genre. The game is set in the mystical and untamed island of Aeternum, a land filled with magic, danger, and ancient secrets. Players step into the shoes of a settler, exploring the island’s vast landscapes, gathering resources, battling corrupted foes, and engaging in territorial wars for control of valuable land.

Aeternum’s most significant allure lies in its setting: an island suspended between the mortal realm and the afterlife. The presence of a mysterious substance called Azoth powers the island, and it has become the key to many of the game’s gameplay mechanics, including crafting, upgrading, and interacting with the environment.

With each new season, New World introduces updates that expand the narrative, provide new systems, and enrich the gameplay loop. Season 8 is no exception, offering a wealth of fresh experiences that fans have been eagerly anticipating.

Key Highlights of Season 8 Content

Season 8 introduces a broad array of new content, from brand-new zones and activities to exciting systems that deepen the gameplay. Let’s dive into the highlights of what players can expect from the eighth season of New World Gold.

1. New Expedition: The Labyrinth

One of the most anticipated additions of Season 8 is the brand-new Expedition: The Labyrinth. This high-level, challenging dungeon offers players the chance to delve deep into the heart of Aeternum’s mysterious, maze-like structure. The Labyrinth is located in the newly introduced region called “Eldritch Hollow,” a zone filled with ancient and arcane threats.

The Expedition itself is a test of skill, teamwork, and endurance. Players will need to work together to solve intricate puzzles, defeat powerful enemies, and navigate the shifting layout of the dungeon. Unlike other expeditions in the game, The Labyrinth introduces an ever-changing environment that will keep players on their toes, requiring adaptability and strategic thinking. Expect to face a wide variety of enemies, including newly designed creatures that harness the power of dark magic, as well as formidable bosses who guard key items and lore-rich rewards.

2. New Region: Eldritch Hollow

Alongside the new Expedition, Season 8 introduces the Eldritch Hollow region, a once-forgotten part of Aeternum that has been slowly revealed by the forces of corruption and magic. Eldritch Hollow is a haunting and eerie zone, filled with foggy forests, ancient ruins, and treacherous terrain. The region is home to powerful monsters, enigmatic NPCs, and dangerous encounters.

The story of Eldritch Hollow ties directly into the lore of the island. Long ago, it was a place of deep arcane study and mystical research. However, with the arrival of the corrupted forces, the area became a hub for dark magic, leading to its eventual abandonment by previous inhabitants. Players will explore the ruins of old magical academies, find hidden tomes, and encounter enigmatic factions that have a vested interest in the ancient powers that lie within the Hollow.

3. New Weapons: Voidblades and Arcane Cannons

One of the major features of New World Season 8 is the introduction of two new weapon types: the Voidblade and the Arcane Cannon. These two new weapons open up fresh combat options and strategies for players to experiment with.

Voidblades

The Voidblade is a unique melee weapon that channels the power of the Void. It is a swift, agile weapon that allows players to deal quick, devastating strikes with magical effects. The Voidblade’s abilities are tied to the manipulation of dark, ethereal energy, granting players the ability to create temporary rifts, teleport short distances, and even steal life from enemies. This weapon is perfect for players who prefer a fast-paced, aggressive playstyle.

The Voidblade’s introduction adds a whole new layer to the game’s combat system, allowing players to become master duelists who can quickly outmaneuver enemies while dealing substantial damage.

Arcane Cannons

The Arcane Cannon, on the other hand, is a ranged weapon that uses the power of arcane energy to fire devastating projectiles. The cannon itself is a high-powered, slow-firing weapon capable of causing significant area-of-effect damage. Its introduction expands the game’s range combat options, offering players thechance to use heavy artillery in both PvE and PvP settings.

In addition to dealing heavy damage, the Arcane Cannon can also be used to deploy traps and barriers, creating defensive options in a wide variety of situations. For those who enjoy a tactical approach to combat, the Arcane Cannon offers exciting new possibilities.

4. New PvP Features: Warbound Alliances and Siege Enhancements

PvP players have also received a significant amount of love in Season 8. Two major changes aim to make large-scale territorial wars more dynamic and strategic.

Warbound Alliances

One of the most impactful changes in Season 8 is the introduction of Warbound Alliances. In New World, players have long been able to form factions to fight for control of territories, but Season 8 introduces a deeper level of cooperation. Factions now have the ability to form alliances with other factions, allowing them to unite in the face of a common enemy. Warbound Alliances open up new strategic opportunities, as players can pool resources, coordinate military campaigns, and share influence over key areas of the map.

Alliances can now challenge each other for control of high-value regions, leading to larger and more complex wars. This new feature is a welcome addition for players who enjoy the large-scale PvP aspects of New World and want more coordination and collaboration.

Siege Enhancements

In addition to alliances, Season 8 brings several enhancements to the Siege Warfare mechanics. This includes new siege equipment, such as improved catapults, battering rams, and defensive fortifications. Players can now customize their siege weapons and defenses, adding an extra layer of depth to territorial wars.

The updated Siege system also introduces new mechanics for attacking and defending, such as the ability to deploy temporary magic barriers, place traps on the battlefield, and create mobile defenses that can shift the tide of a siege. The stakes have never been higher, and the battles over territory promises to be more thrilling than ever.

5. Crafting and Economy Changes

Season 8 brings several quality-of-life changes to crafting and the economy of Aeternum. Crafting has always been a core element of New World, and the developers have listened to player feedback to make the system more engaging and rewarding.

Crafting Specialization System

The Crafting Specialization system is an exciting new feature that allows players to specialize in certain crafting categories. For example, players can choose to specialize in weaponsmithing, tailoring, or alchemy, and as they progress, they will unlock unique perks that improve the quality of their crafted items. This system is designed to make crafting more rewarding and gives players a greater sense of ownership over the items they create.

Trade and Market Changes

In addition to crafting, Season 8 also brings a revamp of the trading and market systems. The new system introduces dynamic market trends that reflect the supply and demand of goods across different regions. This system also introduces new trading mechanics, such as bartering and auction-style sales, allowing players to more effectively trade goods and services with one another in buy New World Coins.

6. Story and Lore Expansions

Lastly, Season 8 delves even deeper into the lore of Aeternum, continuing to flesh out the history and mystery of the island. The introduction of Eldritch Hollow, alongside new NPCs, quests, and world events, provides players with fresh narrative content that will help to uncover the ancient secrets of Aeternum.

Players can expect new storylines that tie directly into the overarching narrative of the game, including the rise of new factions, the expansion of the corruption, and the return of ancient enemies. The developers have made it clear that the story will continue to evolve, and players will have more opportunities to influence the future of Aeternum.

Conclusion

Season 8 of New World is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious and content-rich updates the game has seen yet. From the introduction of challenging new expeditions and weapons to the exciting overhaul of PvP systems and crafting, there’s something for every type of player in this update. As Aeternum continues to grow and evolve, players can look forward to more thrilling adventures, strategic battles, and immersive lore.

For veterans of New World and newcomers alike, Season 8 promises to provide hours of new content, enhancing the game’s already captivating world with fresh and engaging features. So gather your allies, sharpen your blades, and prepare to face the challenges of Aeternum like never before!

New World Aeternum: How To Play With Friends

New World, Amazon Game Studios’ highly anticipated MMO, takes place on the mysterious island of Aeternum—a land filled with supernatural elements, dangerous creatures, and epic adventures. The game offers players the opportunity to explore vast landscapes, engage in thrilling combat, and craft powerful gear. But, like any MMO, one of the most enjoyable aspects of New World is playing with friends.

Aeternum can be a lonely place if you’re braving the dangers solo, but having friends by your side can completely transform your experience. Whether you’re tackling the many quests, engaging in PvP battles, or conquering the massive PvE content, playing with others in New World Gold offers a sense of camaraderie, teamwork, and excitement that makes the game even more fun.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to play with friends in New World Aeternum, from forming a group to joining factions and participating in large-scale content together. Whether you’re new to the game or just looking to enhance your multiplayer experience, this article will cover everything you need to know about playing alongside your friends.

1. Setting Up Your Group: How to Invite Friends

The first step in playing New World with friends is getting together in the same world. If you and your friends are starting a new journey in Aeternum, there are a few ways to make sure you’re playing in the same world and region.

Step 1: Choosing a Server

When you first boot up New World, you’ll need to select a server to play on. Servers are organized by regions (North America, Europe, etc.), and each region has multiple worlds (which are essentially servers in the game). It’s important to select the same world as your friends if you want to play together.

Tip: Before making your final decision, talk to your friends about which world they’re joining. Once you’ve selected a world, you’re locked into it unless you transfer characters (although this can be a time-consuming process and is limited by certain restrictions, like character progression and faction status).

Step 2: Creating or Joining a Company

In New World, the most common way to play with friends once you’re in the same world is by creating or joining a Company—the game’s equivalent of a guild or clan. Companies allow you to communicate, group up, and organize activities together.

To create a Company, simply open the social menu, navigate to the Company tab, and choose Create Company. You’ll need to pick a name and an emblem for your group.

If you’re joining a friend’s Company, just search for the name of their Company in the social menu and request an invitation.

Once you’re part of the same Company, you can interact more easily and track your progress together. Companies also play a key role in the game’s Territory Control system, which we’ll cover in more detail later.

2. Grouping Up with Friends: How to Party

Once you’re all on the same server and have formed or joined a Company, it’s time to start grouping up for activities. New World uses a party system, allowing you and your friends to team up for PvE content, quests, and PvP battles.

Step 1: Inviting Friends to a Party

Open the social menu and click on the Friends tab to see who is online.

Right-click your friend’s name and select Invite to Party.

Your friend will receive an invite and can accept it to join your group.

Once you’ve formed a party, you can easily travel together, share loot, and work on quests in sync. Grouping together can significantly reduce the difficulty of some of the more challenging activities, such as elite mobs or high-level dungeons.

Step 2: Managing Your Party

While in a group, you can track the party’s progress, assign roles, and communicate with your teammates. New World doesn’t have a specific tank/healer/DPS role system like some other MMOs, but you’ll still need to play off each other’s strengths. Make sure to coordinate on which quests you’ll tackle, and be mindful of your party members’ positions in combat.

Additionally, the game’s Faction System is something to consider when grouping with friends. Factions (which we’ll explore more below) are essentially in-game political allegiances that can impact PvP and faction-based content. While you can form a party with friends in different factions, there are certain restrictions in competitive scenarios.

3. Factions: Why They Matter When Playing With Friends

One key element that makes New World unique is the Faction System. Players can join one of three factions in Aeternum: Marauders, Syndicate, or Covenant. Each faction has its own values, objectives, and rewards, and will shape how you interact with both your friends and your enemies.

Joining a Faction

At level 10, you’ll be prompted to choose a faction. This is an important decision because it will influence your PvP options, faction missions, and war efforts.

Factions give you access to different kinds of Faction Missions, which can be completed solo or as a group. These missions are a great way to earn faction points, gear, and other rewards.

Players from opposing factions can engage in PvP Faction Wars and participate in Outpost Rush, a large-scale PvP event. Your faction allegiance can determine whether you’re working with or against your friends in these events.

If you want to play together with friends, make sure you’re all in the same faction. While it is possible for players to be in different factions and group up for PvE content, this may cause conflicts in PvP areas, where faction-based rivalries are strong.

Faction Wars and Territory Control

Factions are central to New World’s Territory Control system. Players of the same faction can fight to control settlements and fortresses. These wars happen on a large scale, with up to 50 players per side fighting to control an area. These wars are highly strategic and require coordination between friends and faction members.

If you and your friends are in the same faction, you can organize together to defend or assault territories. Conquering and holding territories offers lucrative rewards like resources, taxes, and control over crafting stations. This makes faction loyalty an important aspect of teamwork in New World.

4. Exploring Aeternum Together: PvE Content

Playing with friends is arguably the most enjoyable way to experience New World’s PvE content. The game offers a wide variety of activities, from questing and resource gathering to dungeons and elite world bosses. Let’s take a look at some of the best ways to explore Aeternum with your friends.

Co-Op Questing

One of the primary ways to progress through the game is by completing quests. New World offers main story quests, side quests, and faction missions. You and your friends can team up to take on these missions, sharing experience points and loot.

Tip: Some quests will require you to fight powerful bosses or clear elite areas. These can be much easier when you’re teamed up with a friend who can support you in combat.

Expeditions (Dungeons)

Expeditions are group-based dungeons where you and your friends can face off against challenging bosses and earn high-level gear. These dungeons are designed for parties of 3-5 players and require teamwork to navigate and defeat powerful enemies.

Each expedition has its own unique theme and challenge, and completing them with friends can feel incredibly rewarding. Some of the most popular expeditions in New World include the Amrine Excavation, The Depths, and Dynasty Shipyard.

Elite Zones and World Bosses

For players looking for a real challenge, elite zones and world bosses offer some of the most difficult content in the game. These bosses require full coordination, specialized roles, and strategic planning to defeat. While these fights can be tough, they’re incredibly rewarding when tackled as a group of friends.

5. PvP: Combat and Competitions with Friends

For those seeking a competitive edge, New World offers numerous PvP activities that you can enjoy with friends, from small skirmishes to massive faction-based wars.

Open-World PvP

While in an open PvP area, you and your friends can engage in battles with players from opposing factions. This adds an element of risk and excitement to your adventures in Aeternum. Open-world PvP is voluntary and can be toggled on or off depending on your preferences.

Outpost Rush

Outpost Rush is a 20v20 PvP mode where you and your friends can join forces against another faction. This mode involves capturing strategic points, completing objectives, and defeating the opposing faction. It’s one of the best ways to earn rewards through PvP while playing with your friends in buy New World Coins.

Conclusion

Playing New World with friends adds a whole new level of excitement and enjoyment to the game. Whether you’re exploring the wilds of Aeternum, battling dangerous creatures, or competing in large-scale PvP wars, the journey is always more enjoyable with friends by your side. By choosing the right server, forming a Company, and selecting the right faction, you can build a solid foundation for playing New World together. So, rally your friends, set your course, and embark on an unforgettable adventure in the world of Aeternum!

Key Locations to Find Briar Branches:

Everfall

Location Overview: Everfall is one of the first regions you’ll encounter when starting the game. While it is home to a variety of resources, it is also known for its abundance of Briar Branches. You’ll find these branches scattered around the landscape, particularly near the forests and woodlands that define Everfall’s terrain.

How To Make Easy Progress With Quick New World Daily Routine?

I’m going to show you how I progress my character in New World spending only about 25 minutes each day and in that time I’m gonna get three Gypsum and about a thousand New World Coins whilst this isn’t like Earth Shattering. I think it’s quite decent for about 25 minutes worth of work.

Now, the first thing I’m going to do is get an Aptitude Gypsum, which happens to be the Emerald Gypsum. Actually, this is very simple. If you get an Aptitude level, you will get a Gypsum. By the way, it’s capped at once per day. So, I only do this once per day. Generally, I will save my materials, my ores, my leathers and linen and all that kind of stuff. And what I will do is to refine it but only so that I get one tick per day in each category.

And generally, I achieve this by just doing my daily cooldowns. So, I will get things like Asmodeum, Phoenixweave, Runic Leather and so on. And if you can make it, so that it’s staggered that maybe that if you do that each day, you’ll get one Aptitude in either of the  buy New World Coins three of those. Then you’re golden sometimes.

I’ll buy the materials other times. I like to just go out and farm for a day when I have more time and then use that for a week or so. It’s very quick to do if you have the materials. It’s less quick if you don’t. But this literally might only take you two to three minutes right once. I’ve done that.

I then move on to Corrupted Portals. Now, what we’re actually trying to do here is to get the New World Coins, not necessarily the Gypsum. If you can find a team that’s doing the Major Breaches crack on, you’ll be done in a few minutes. And if you do the Major Breaches, you could actually get a Gypsum doing that as well. But right now, I’m gonna say you can solve the level 25 Major Breaches. Doing the Major Breaches will guarantee that you get the gold Coin Purses. There’s 250 in each and you can get two per day. Sometimes it can be quite hard to find level 25 Major Breaches.

Keep in mind that you can do level 35 on level 45. It is relatively easy. It might just take you a little bit longer. For example, when I was filming this. I actually did a level 35 and a level 45 and it took me maybe what 10-15 minutes and that’s actually running between one and the other place so not very long. Once I’ve done that, I will find an area that has a level 55 mobs and then I will take a Topaz Potion and I’ll just start indiscriminately killing everything.

There’s two things you’re trying to get here. You’re trying to get the Topaz Gypsum and you’re now trying to get the Diamond Gypsum with the Coin Bags. You can get three Coin Bags a day and three Diamond Gypsum. The Coin Bags range in how much New World Coins you’ll get. Generally, you will get New World Coins between like 100 or 200.

Now, you could stop there and have two Gypsum mobs. However, if you like what you can do is to keep killing until you get all 10 Topaz Gypsum. Now that will actually take a little bit longer for me. I’m finding it’s anywhere between 15 and 20 minutes but maybe you’re quicker than killing than I am. I’m just interjecting here because I wasn’t very clear with the Topaz Gypsum. You can actually get 10 Topaz dropped per day. And you actually only need five per Gypsum Orb, so you can probably get five in about five or ten minutes and then 10 in about 10 to 20 minutes. So, it’s up to you to decide which one you want to do.

And then if you’re done for the day, what I would suggest you do is to log off the whilst you’re around those enemies. The Topaz Gypsum last two hours though to be fur but when you log back in, it’ll still be active. This means you can then kill again, get the Coin Purses, get the Topaz Gypsum and then go to the darkness breaches and then go back to town. Basically, you do it in reverse order the second day and then the third day you do it like from the top again very very easy way of getting a thousand New World Coins, three Gypsums per day 25 minutes.

What more can you ask for? Yes, there’s other possible better efficient ways but I find this to be sort of enjoyable. At the minute the Diamond Gypsum is dropping from mobs rather than gathering. Once that changes to gathering, you just throw a little bit of gathering in the mix.

It’s also worth noting that you don’t actually have to kill level 55s to get the Coin Purses from mobs. In fact, I just walked out of Everfall. In one day, I went to the level like tens and just murdered all of them and got it that way and I got it in like three minutes.

So, if you don’t want to do the Topaz, just try and get the Coin Bags and you just basically missing one Gypsum and it’s not really a problem. You can sort of cater it to you if you have way more time. You can maybe throw in like an arena, throwing an outpost rush or in an expedition but then you’re basically playing the game properly. For me, this is just a way of quickly doing a few little dailies and still getting decently rewarded.
